Thailand has just officially released the new Nissan Almera. This Nissan B-Segment Sedan has a total of five levels in Thailand. The price ranges from 499,000 to 639,000 baht. It also has an automatic brake assist system ( AEB). The new Nissann Almera on the exterior continues Nissan’s latest V-Moion design. Like its older brother Nissan Sylphy, it uses a V-Motion water tank cover and flat headlight set. The front fog lights are also square in design like Nissan Sylphy is similar.
They all use flat taillights, and LED headlights, LED front fog lights and LED taillights are also standard on the high-end level. The entry level is still halogen bulbs, and the wheels are standard with 15 inches. Single-color aluminum wheels, but can be upgraded to 16-inch two-color wheels at an additional price. The new Nissan Almera is developed and built using the Renault-Nissan Alliance’s CMFB modular chassis. It belongs to the same chassis as the fifth-generation March, with a body length of 4495 mm, a body width of 1740 mm, a height of 1460 mm, and a wheelbase of 2620 mm.
The interior of the new Nissan Almera is replaced with a new design. An 8-inch Nissan Connect screen host is equipped in the middle. This host also supports Apple CarPlay but unfortunately does not have Android Auto. In addition, it also supports a sound control system and a pointer instrument panel. A 7-inch color driving information screen, other configurations include a single zone constant temperature air-conditioning system, two-color flannel seats, engine start buttons, Keyless door handles, etc., but unfortunately there is still no air-conditioning outlet for the rear seat.
For the engine part, Thailand ’s Nissan Almera is now replaced with a new 1.0L three-cylinder turbocharged engine. The engine code is HR10DET. This engine has 100 horsepower and 152Nm torque output. The gearbox is matched from the original four-speed automatic. (4AT) changed to XTronic CVT gearbox, of course, it is front-wheel drive. The original factory claims that its comprehensive fuel consumption data is 23.3km / L. Safety is the biggest upgrade point of the new Nissan Almera. This time Nissan Almera surpassed all Japanese competitors of the same level in one breath. In addition to 6 airbags, it also comes standard with an automatic brake assist system (AEB) and a forward collision warning system. (FCW), blind spot detection system (BSM), rear traffic warning system (RCTA), panoramic photography system (AVM), body dynamic stabilization system (VDC), slope starting assist system, and of course a three-in-one brake system, and two Group of child safety seat buckles.
